Middle School

Welcome to the Sayre Middle School. The Middle School years are a time of exploration, a time of discovery, and a time of questioning.  The Middle School student is grappling with a sense of self and a sense of place in the future.

In accordance to Sayre’s Philosophy, the Middle School pays close attention to the development of the young child into a young adult.  We seek to foster an atmosphere of intellectual creativity, curiosity, and inquiry while remaining sensitive to the needs of the young adolescent.  The Middle School should be seen as a safe place for students to explore the world around them intellectually and emotionally.  Toward this end, the school relies on the faculty, student body, and parents to work together in a partnership.
