Upper School

Welcome to the Upper School. I hope you will spend a few minutes browsing through the various links to get a feel for our academic program. A brief tour will give you a glimpse into the rich and varied opportunities we provide our students as they progress through the upper school. However, these links only provide one part of the story. The real learning takes place in the day to day interaction of students with faculty and with their peers.

The Upper School building itself is designed to facilitate these interactions with open communal gathering spaces such as the central atrium where we hold our twice weekly, Morning Meetings, and smaller conference rooms for group study and collaboration. Window seats and comfortable chairs placed throughout the building allow for quiet down time or individual study. The school's wireless network and laptop program and its commitment to use technology to enrich student learning enhance the educational experience. Sayre's Upper School is a vibrant and active place, and I encourage you to call and make an appointment to visit us.
